India Post GDS Recruitment 2026 देश के उन लाखों उम्मीदवारों के लिए एक बड़ा अवसर है जो 10th pass government job की तलाश में हैं। India Post Office ने वर्ष 2026 के लिए Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Posts पर 28740 vacancies का आधिकारिक notification Issue कर दिया है। इस भर्ती प्रक्रिया के अंतर्गत Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) और Dak Sevak जैसे Post भरे जाएंगे।

इस भर्ती की सबसे बड़ी खासियत यह है कि कोई Written Exam नहीं होगी। Selection पूरी तरह 10th class merit के आधार पर होगी। Online application process 31 January 2026 से 16 February 2026 तक open रहेगा।

 Educational Qualification : 

Educational Qualification :

  • मान्यता प्राप्त board से 10वीं कक्षा पास
  • Mathematics और English subjects के साथ passing
  • जिस state के लिए आवेदन कर रहे हैं, उस local language को 10वीं तक पढ़ा होना चाहिए
  • Basic Computer Knowledge अनिवार्य
  • Smartphone चलाने का ज्ञान
  • Cycle चलाने की ability
  • GDS के अलावा अन्य income source होना आवश्यक

Note : Higher qualification (12th / Graduation) का कोई extra advantage नहीं मिलेगा। Merit सिर्फ 10th percentage से बनेगी।

 Merit List Calculation : 

Merit percentage upto 3 decimal points calculate की जाती है

  • Higher marks = higher chance
  • Tie होने पर Date of Birth (older candidate first) priority मिलती है

Example:

Candidate A: 87.456%

Candidate B: 87.455%
=> Candidate A ऊपर रहेगा।
 Job Profile : 

GDS post सिर्फ नाम से छोटा लगता है, काम respectable है:

  • Mail delivery
  • Post office assistance
  • Savings schemes promotion
  • Rural postal services handling

Job rural area में होती है, लेकिन stability solid है।

 Salary / Pay Scale : 

Salary Range

  • BPM ₹12,000 – ₹29,380
  • ABPM / Dak Sevak ₹10,000 – ₹24,470

Salary के अलावा candidates को Dearness Allowance (DA) और अन्य allowances भी मिलते हैं।

  • Merit List (10th Marks Based)

Note :  1.  कोई interview, कोई written test नहीं। अगर marks अच्छे हैं, तो selection realistic है।
